Anna Smith Strong Chapter, NSDAR Setauket, Long Island, New York
Our Patriots’ Day celebration was a tremendous success, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in honoring this important chapter of American history. Your presence helped bring the story of the Culper Spy Ring to life and made the day truly memorable.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the
The Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation
for their generous grant support.
Their ongoing commitment to preserving and sharing Long Island’s rich history played a vital role in making this event possible.
We are especially honored to thank our keynote speaker, Noel Gish, for his engaging presentation,
"Long Island and the Revolution," which offered meaningful insight into our region’s role in shaping American history.
A special thank you goes to our talented performers and contributors, including the Longwood Musicians—Mya Prestopino, Nyah Carter, and Aliza Greenberg; Michael Rosengard for his engaging colonial display; soprano Ava Kimmel; and Georgie (Herb) Washington. We are also grateful to the dedicated volunteers from the Smithtown High School East Interact Club for their time and enthusiasm.
Finally, we offer our heartfelt thanks to our DAR sisters, whose unwavering support, talent,
and generosity helped make this event such a success.
